Jessica came in wanting to break up with box dye for good. Her hair had years of uneven at-home color built up, leaving her ends brassy and her roots muddy. We started with a full consultation to map out a lived-in blonde that would grow out beautifully without harsh lines.
Using a custom lighting and balayage technique, I hand-painted soft, dimensional pieces around her face and through the mid-lengths. The goal was buttery, sun-kissed movement — not a solid wall of color.
After toning, we finished with a K20 restoring treatment to bring back strength and shine to previously over-processed ends. Her hair felt like new.
We wrapped up with a texture-friendly blow dry so she could see exactly how her new color moves. Jessica booked her next appointment before she even left the chair.
